What tasks are included in a standard clean?
Our standard clean covers every main area of your home, so you don’t need to write a checklist each visit.
Kitchen: We degrease and polish worktops, cupboards, sinks and splashbacks, sanitise high-touch surfaces, wipe the outside of appliances, and vacuum and mop the floors.
Bathrooms: We scrub and rinse showers, baths, basins and taps, remove limescale and built-up soap scum, polish shower screens and tiles, clean lights and fixtures, and disinfect toilets inside and out.
Bedrooms: We dust furniture and surfaces, wipe down corners to clear cobwebs, vacuum carpets and furniture (including under cushions), wash floors, and make beds or change your linen.
Living areas, hallways and staircases: We dust surfaces and picture frames, vacuum carpets and stairs, clean hard floors, wipe skirting boards, and refresh high-touch areas such as handrails, light switches and door handles.

Are the cleaners vetted, licensed, and insured?
Yes. Eco-Fresh Cleaning Ltd is fully insured, and every member of our team is carefully vetted before they enter your home.
Insurance: We hold public liability insurance of 5 million, which covers accidental damage to your property or belongings while we’re working. We’re happy to send you a copy of our insurance certificate on request.
Vetting: Every cleaner goes through an enhanced DBS check, identity and right-to-work checks, and reference checks before joining us. All of our cleaners are directly employed and trained by us, so you’ll see the same trusted faces rather than agency staff.
Your home and belongings: If you give us a spare key, key-box code or building fob, we keep it secure and only use it for your booked visits. In the unlikely event that something goes wrong, we’ll put it right promptly.
Do I need to provide cleaning products and equipment?
No. Our team arrives fully equipped with professional products but you must supply the vacuum and mop unless requested and this will incur additional fees. We use eco-friendly products wherever possible, in keeping with our name and values. If you’d prefer we use specific products of your own, just let us know.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning appointment?
You do not have to stay home; many clients provide a spare key, key-box code, or building fob so cleaners can work while the client is at work or running errands.
