Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of cleaning and property maintenance services by Eco-Fresh Cleaning Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the customer (“you”, “your”). By booking our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Us
Eco-Fresh Cleaning Ltd is a cleaning and property maintenance company based at 12 Peppermint Close, Croydon, CR0 3DX, United Kingdom. You can contact us at info@eco-fresh.co.uk or on +44 7490 854 937.
2. Bookings and Quotes
- Quotes are based on the information you provide about the property and the work required. If the actual condition or size of the property differs significantly, we reserve the right to adjust the quote and will discuss any changes with you before proceeding.
- A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date, time and price with you, whether by phone, email, or through our online booking system.
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
3. Pricing and Payment
- Prices are as set out in your quote or agreed at the time of booking.
- Payment terms depend on the service. For one-off domestic services, payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed. For commercial and contract clients, invoices are payable within 7 days of the invoice date.
- We accept payment by bank transfer, card, etc.
- We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue accounts in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, where applicable.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of 50 percent..
- If our team arrives at the agreed time and is unable to access the property, or the booking is cancelled on arrival, we reserve the right to charge the full or a partial amount to cover our costs.
- We may, in rare circumstances, need to cancel or reschedule a booking (for example, due to staff illness or adverse weather). Where this happens, we will give you as much notice as possible and arrange an alternative time or a full refund of any advance payment.
5. Access and Customer Responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed time.
- You should ensure that utilities (electricity, hot and cold water) are available where these are needed to carry out the work.
- Please inform us in advance of any hazards, fragile or high-value items, pets, alarm systems, or any areas you do not wish us to clean.
- We ask that valuables, cash and items of sentimental value are stored safely away before our visit.
6. Our Service and Standards
- We will carry out our services with reasonable care and skill, using suitably trained and vetted staff.
- We use our own equipment and cleaning products unless otherwise agreed. If you require us to use products or equipment that you provide, we cannot accept liability for any damage caused by those items.
- Cleaning times are estimates and may vary depending on the condition and size of the property.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee and Complaints
- Your satisfaction is important to us. If you are not happy with any aspect of our work, please notify us within 24 hours of the service being completed.
- Where a valid concern is raised within this period, we will return to re-clean the affected area at no additional cost, provided the issue falls within the scope of the original booking.
- Any complaints should be sent to info@eco-fresh.co.uk so we can address them promptly.
8. Liability
- We hold public liability insurance and will take reasonable care while carrying out our work.
- If we cause damage to your property or possessions through our negligence, please report it to us within [INSERT PERIOD, e.g. 24 hours] of the service so we can investigate. We may ask for reasonable evidence in support of any claim.
- We are not liable for:
– Pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or items that were already faulty or damaged;
– Damage resulting from products or equipment that you supplied;
– Failure to achieve a result where the item or surface cannot reasonably be cleaned (for example, due to age, material, or existing damage); or
– Any indirect or consequential loss. - Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Loss or Damage to Keys
If we are entrusted with keys to your property, we will take reasonable care of them. In the unlikely event of loss, our liability will be limited to the reasonable cost of replacing the keys and/or locks affected.
10. Sub-Contracting and Staff
- We may use our own employees or vetted operatives to carry out the work.
- To protect our business, you agree not to directly employ or engage any member of our staff or operatives, other than through us.
11. Data Protection
We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on our website. By using our services, you consent to us processing your information as described there.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one in effect at the date of that booking. The latest version will always be available on our website.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
